I am Elodie. I built The Hiring System for the founder I met over and over again at Randstad: smart, busy, doing too much, and one bad hire away from a real problem.

How I got here

I joined Randstad in my early twenties thinking recruiting was about reading résumés. It is not. It is about asking the right questions, in the right order, and being honest with yourself about what the answers mean.

Over 8 years I screened thousands of candidates and placed hundreds of them into roles ranging from receptionist to head of operations. The process that worked was always the same: clear role, structured interview, scored answers, real reference checks.

Then I started running into a different kind of person at networking events: the small business owner. Two employees, ten employees, fifty. No HR, no recruiter, and a hiring story that was almost always the same — they had hired on instinct, it had not worked out, and they did not know how to do it differently.

The honest truth is, what they needed was not magic. It was the same boring, structured process I used every day, stripped of corporate jargon and packaged so they could actually use it. So I made it.
